Then....Now!

Now.....almost 5 Months

A Spring Day!

The weather has been so nice lately.  So nice in fact, that we have been spending some time outside.  Tenley loves to be outdoors and thinks the animals are just hilarious!  She can be fussy and grumpy and we will take her outside and she will just talk and laugh.  She is definately an outside girl!  It was nice to have a day together that we could take a break from our busy lives and just spend some time together. 

Softball has me pretty well consumed at the moment, (I coach at the high school) and Tyler has been busy with work and babysitting Tenley for me while I coach.  I am so grateful to have a husband who is willing to help out so much!  Love this little family of mine!

at her last check up she weighed 14 lbs 6 oz.

A little something I want to remember:

She loves to snuggle with her daddy before bedtime.  She is too independent to let him hold her and snuggle her, but she will wiggle herself just as close as she possible can to him. The other night she wiggled and wiggled and finally got to him, she then put her little hand on his face and went to sleep!  It was just too cute! She is a girl who loves her Dad! She keeps us laughing for sure!

Easter!

We had a pretty laid back Easter Sunday!  We mostly just relaxed at home and took some pictures of our cute little Tenley! (I know she's all I post about these days)  We had dinner at Tyler's parents house, where Tenley was certainly spoiled.  Grandma and Grandpa got her a cute little lamb and a nursery rhyme book.  She loves stuffed animals and music so I know she will love the cute easter gift!  We also spent some time outside and got some cute Easter pictures of our sweet little gal!

We also had some time today to reflect on our Savior.   I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have that He lives!  I love my Savior and am grateful for the unbelievable sacrifice that was made in my behalf!  I love this time of year!

4 Months!

This little lady is 4 months old today!  It is amazing how quickly time passes. Here are some things I want to remember about this time.  She spends most of her time rolling over to her belly, getting stuck, and screaming for help!  This girl knows how to eat!  She enjoys time in her bouncer and watching Garfield!  She is so amazingly smart and strong!   Tenley has the happiest disposition, she is constantly smiling and doing funny things.  She is sleeping better about 10-5! (which is a blessing for sure) 

 Its hard to express how much she has changed our lives for the better!  She is a sweet blessing from our Heavenly Father! We sure love this girl!

Mesquite & Our Journeyman!

On Wednesday we headed down to Mesquite, NV for Tyler's Journeyman banquet.  The trip was a little more tricky now that we have Miss Tenley.  We spent most of are time in our room considering it was in a casino; not really a great place for babies;)  We had a good time though and are so proud of Ty.  He worked so hard to get to this point, and we sure are grateful for how well he takes care of us.  He worked for alot of years, and spent a lot of time in school to get this award and become a journeyman.  We love this guy!

Blessing Day!

Today was a pretty special day for this little gal!  Today was Tenley's blessing day.  Tyler gave her a beautiful blessing.  We love that guy and are grateful for the beautiful blessings promised to our Tenley.  After church we had a little get together with friends and family.  We are blessed to be surrounded by such good people who love this little girl.  Even my parents got to come along with Cortney, Heath & her little girls.  It was a good day.

The Sweetest Things!
